Withdrawal policy

Consumers have the following right of withdrawal. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that predominantly cannot be attributed to their commercial or independent profession activity:

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party nominated by you, other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the last goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us DARCO (Europe) GmbH, Gewerbegebiet 18, 82399 Raisting, Germany, info@darco.de, Tel.: 08807-92280) of your decision to withdraw from this contract with a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, a fax or e-mail). You can use the sample withdrawal form attached at the end of this page, but this is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification to exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except additional costs resulting from your choice of a different type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive your notice of withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment for this reimbursement that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement. We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having returned the goods, whichever is earliest.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the fourteen-day deadline expires. We bear the cost of returning the goods. You only have to pay for any diminished value of the goods resulting from their handling, other than is necessary to establish the nature, features and function of the goods.

General information on returns

1. Please avoid damaging and soiling the goods. Please return the goods to us, if possible in their original packaging, with all accessories and all packaging materials. Use protective outer packaging as appropriate. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure sufficient protection against transport damage by using suitable packaging.

2. Please do not return the goods to us ‘freight collect’. We would also be happy to refund your postage costs upon request, provided they are not to be borne by you.
Please note that these items 1-2 are not prerequisites for you to effectively exercise your right of withdrawal.
